Cristina has a Master's degree in Psychology with a focus of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a Professional Clinical Counselor.

Cristina gained her passion to become a therapist from her own journey both personally and professionally. Her drive to help others stems from the desire to give back to her community and improve the lives of others. Her mission is to work alongside her clients to guide them towards being the healthiest version of themselves and to give them tools to process and overcome challenges. As soon as you meet Cristina you notice her empathy and compassion.

Cristina began working for Recovery Resources in September of 2020. She specializes in trauma-related treatment, and enjoys working with clients who require a wide range of needs. She has experience working with victims of crime, domestic violence victims, at-risk youth, those with co-occurring disorders, and substance-related disorders. She has experience working with children, families, and adults from different walks of life, varying in age, gender, race, cultural backgrounds and enjoys working with them all.

supervised by Laura Noelle, LPCC 7377

Franchesca is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who brings three years of working experience in mental health and substance use disorder.

She received her MS in Clinical Rehabilitation and mental health counseling at FSU.  Her experience includes compassionate clinical assistance to the diverse population  at the Visalia Rescue Mission where she focused on addiction education and treatment from a trauma-informed perspective.  She has found success in treating children, adolescents, and adults for a variety of mental heal concerns including substance use in the family, co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Her approach to therapy is based on the belief that the desire for connection was instilled at birth and true healing and growth spring from one's healthy relationships with self and others.  She operates from a strengths-based perspective, walking beside clients and inviting them to consider and resources they currently have as supports to the change and growth they desire.

Born and raised in Visalia, Franchesca has a special connection with the community and is invested in using her skills to help bring hope and healing to her clients and the clients attending the intensive outpatient treatment program.
