Recovery Resources' Mission
The mission of Recovery Resources is to provide quality, ethical treatment for alcoholism, addiction, and mental health. Our agency is dedicated to providing affordable, individualized solutions to problems associated with alcohol and drug use as well as mental health needs. The goal of Recovery Resources is to liberate individuals, couples, and families of childhood trauma and the trauma associated with this disease, and also to assist these people in the process of rebuilding their lives.
Recovery Resources was founded on April 1st, 1999 by Rick and Jerri Thompson. They were not strangers to recovery. At the time Rick and Jerri created Recovery Resources, each of them were employed by different agencies. They saw a need that was not being filled in the recovery community and they had a passion to satisfy that need. Their plan was to provide a private, confidential, ethical, trauma-informed, and effective treatment for this disease.
Recovery Resources is now contracted and in-network with many insurance companies.
Recovery Resources Recently added outpatient mental health psychotherapy to their current list of services.
Rick Thompson is CADC-II, ICADC and SAP certified. He has been a substance abuse specialist since 1987.

Since April 1st 1999, Recovery Resources' staff grew from its two founders to a team of qualified professionals. The facility has the capability to provide trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment as well as treatment to those with co-occurring disorders.
In 2000, Recovery Resources began providing prevention and counseling services to local school districts to reach our youth and work together with school districts to minimize the impact of substance use to prevent students from living a life of addiction and alcoholism. With education and counseling available to youth, Recovery Resources provides a safe place for teens to explore different alternatives, challenges, and expression of feelings instead of substance use.
Recovery Resources started with one school district and they are now present in five school districts in Tulare County.
Recovery Resources was asked to develop an alcohol and drug testing program to ensure a safe school athletics program at various local high school districts.
In a few short years, Recovery Resources compiled an impressive list of agencies that have been served, both past, and present. As Recovery Resources has grown, it has continued to build a solid reputation founded on integrity—a reputation that is highly respected in both the professional and recovering communities.
